Just Text Me

I’m in the SLC writing my stupidass research paper for 107 and I can’t but overhear this hella funny conversation (at least i think it was) next to me between a GSI and a Summer Bridge Program Student (I think these students are just coming to CAL from high school, mainly athletes?), which went something like this:

GSI: Didn’t you read my email?

Student: Yeah…

GSI: Well then do you remember what I said? It’ll help you a lot in this essay, blah blah blah blah…

Student: Yeah I checked it like a week ago

GSI: I sent it out two weeks ago, and I made it especially for you blah blah blah ablah

Student: Oh, if it’s really important just text me next time(Points to his phone) I always have this with me.

GSI: What? Don’t ever say that to a gsi, professor, or teacher, its rude. etc…

After they were done and the student left, the GSI sighed, clasped her hands on the table, and put her head down on the table for 2 seconds.

Regular Walk Home

This is my first blog post since xanga. Hopefully I’ll have some interesting updates, for those of you who read these things haha.

I was walking home from class, which ended at around 9:30. I’m about two blocks away from my place and this is what I see

Seeing the cop throw the guy to the ground was pretty intense, pretty nice. Once I saw, I whipped out my camera, immediately haha. I didn’t get really close to take pictures though, cause I didn’t want to look like a douche bag, but I still probably did by standing hella far and zooming in.

Anyways, its funny how this was right around the block. These type of events probably occur a lot around Berkeley. But its cool, makes the days more eventful.
